KGOTHATSO Ntsaoana has suddenly overnight become the toast and envy of her peers at Unity Secondary School in Daveyton, Ekurhuleni.

The 17-year-old pupil notched up four distinctions in mathematics, Sesotho, English and life orientation in her matric exams.

She attributed her achievement to hard work, discipline and support from her teachers and parents.

"Though I made sure I studied very hard, it is my parents who deserve the accolades for reducing my house chores in order for me to dedicate more time to my studies," she said.

She said she would enrol for a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of the Witwatersrand.
