THE sun will shine on Sunday for jazz lovers in Hammanskraal, where a group of top musicians from Pretoria will bid farewell to some of their own.
Badimo Jazz, a contemporary jazz outfit from the area, has organised this gig in the township of Mathibestad, to perform for the last time before they leave for Chicago in the US.
They will perform there for three months, one of the longest tours to the US by a local group.
The groups and bands that will perform at the farewell function on Sunday include Solly Moholo, Norman Chauke, Jacob Senamela, Mohlupheki Mohajane, David Makgotla, Robin Nchabeleng, Jerry Dibakwane and Duma Msothwane. Entrance to this event is free and food and refreshments will be provided to fans during the function.
