Charisma and ability to fight is something that this 21-year-old youngster from Johannesburg has in abundance.
He has steadily made an impact since he made his professional debut in September 2008, winning four of his seven fights by stoppages.
Pettifer's sentiments were shared by promoter Rodney Berman, who guides the career of Stiglingh.
"This kid has balance and rhythm," he said before cautioning that his charge needs to learn that he does not have to win every fight by knockout.
Stiglingh is trained by Colin Nathan.
Sowetanhas unofficially nominated Stiglingh, Jackson Chauke, Johnny Muller and Michael van Heerden for Boxing SA's Prospect of 2009 award.
Though he managed to beat his previous foes without breaking a sweat, Stiglingh had to work hard to overcome Stephen "Skeleton" Ntshingila to win on points over four rounds in his last fight.
Chauke, 24, and Muller, 20, turned professional last year and both are yet to lose after five fights.
