AMALGAMATED Beverages Industries is to investigate reports of intimidation and violence during a week-long strike by workers, an official said yesterday.
"We are actively seeking evidence of such unlawful activity and will prosecute to the fullest extent of the law," ABI managing director John Ustas said.
This follows reports that strikers were intimidating non-striking members.
Food and Allied Workers Union general-secretary Katishi Masemola denied knowledge of intimidation.
However, incidents at the ABI plant in Phoenix were reported to the police, but no one had been arrested.
