SARAH Jessica Parker "didn't want" to have twins.
The 44-year-old Sex and the City actress and her husband Matthew Broderick - who also have a seven-year-old son James Wilkie - admit that looking after daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge, six months, is proving more difficult than they expected.
Sarah - who had the twins through a surrogate mother - told website Popeater: "We didn't want twins but we wanted a bigger family and this is what we got.
"It's a blessing, it's a thrill, it's a privilege but it couldn't be more different than we expected."
Discussing heading out with the children, she said: "It's shocking. The diapers, the ointment, bottle, pacifier, baby blanket, plastic bags so you're not leaving a dirty diaper at someone's house or a restaurant, God forbid, wipes.
"The list goes on and you need it all, it's not a joke. Times two."
Despite the stress being a mother of twins has brought her, the Did You Hear About the Morgans? actress is managing to laugh through her difficulties.
She said: "Honestly it's funny." - Bang
