This after a Kempton Park magistrate Prince Manyathi found that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute Ronel Dookun.
Dookun was arrested last Wednesday, together with her boyfriend and another man after police, acting on a tip-off, found 700 stolen laptops and cellphones at a house in Bramley, Johannesburg.
Two suspects, Ishmael Mohamed Teladia and Dinnon Naidoo, both 32, are expected to apply for bail this morning, said Bramley police spokesperson Inspector Moses Maphakela. - Sibongile Mashaba
