Delport sustained a syndesmosis injury to his left ankle during the Boks' match against Zimbabwe on day one of the George event.
The Bok Sevens medical team said Delport was also suffering from an osteochondroma injury on his upper arm bone.
Delport will not be considered for selection for the New Zealand and USA legs of the International Rugby Board Sevens World Series. - Sapa
