Partying with celebs at the Fifa draw

YOUR two girls were partying in the Mother City this weekend. The Fifa draw attracted more sportsmen from the Forbes list than I had ever seen - and a number of billionaires from Sol Kerzner to Patrice.

YOUR two girls were partying in the Mother City this weekend. The Fifa draw attracted more sportsmen from the Forbes list than I had ever seen - and a number of billionaires from Sol Kerzner to Patrice.

Of course our own soccer greats, like Kaizer Motaung and Irvin Khoza also graced the scene.

It was more like the fabulous lives of the rich and famous. Most of you only come in contact with it on TV.

I had the shivers when I came face to face with my favourite soccer legend David Beckham. Gees, that man is hotter than ever. How I would like to be Ms Beckham.

Lucas Radebe, who was also at the One & Only, brought along his two adorable kids. I hear Thami Ngobeni is trying to fit into the tight family.

l I was star-struck when I spotted another soccer legend, Abedi Pele. What a life I have.

l It was difficult to spot the usual Jozi crowd, who had clearly not cracked the exclusive invite, but my celebrity radar spotted celebs like Precious Motsepe, Lee-Ann Manas, Uyanda Mbuli and Lebo M.

l I don't know how Durban-based DJ Siyanda managed to land the invite, but I hear he is connected. By the way, thanks for the great sounds Siyanda.

l Police Commissioner Bheki Cele, who was also in the mix, was not wearing his trademark hat for a change. I was starting to wonder what he was hiding under there. Maybe a snake?

l Also, Deputy Minister of Defence Thabang Makwetla is not as boring as he comes across. I spotted him dancing at the after-party. I just love seeing a powerful man getting down in style.

l How can I forget Zizi Kodwa? The guy was wearing his smile throughout the weekend.

l Other businessmen I spotted were Robert Gumede with his wife-to-be and MTN chief executive Phuthuma Nhleko, who I think is hot.
