"After reaching a June high of 73 percent, the proportion who agree that they are positive about South Africa has taken two successive knocks in September (68 percent) and November (66 percent)," said TNS Research Surveys.
The November results show that 66 percent of respondents agreed that they were positive about SA and its future, 26 percent disagreed, and 8 percent said they don't know.
Although this shows a drop from June, it is better than the 56 percent achieved in November 2008 and the all-time low of 49 percent of mid-2008.
Twelve percent said they were thinking of leaving SA. - Sapa
