2 lives lost on rainy roads

INCLEMENT weather in KwaZulu-Natal resulted in a number of road accidents that left two people dead and 15 others injured in separate incidents yesterday.

INCLEMENT weather in KwaZulu-Natal resulted in a number of road accidents that left two people dead and 15 others injured in separate incidents yesterday.

Emergency and rescue teams had their hands full responding to collisions across the province, but mostly in Durban.

Rain and misty weather were the cause of most of the accidents, which included a car pile-up.

A woman was killed and a man sustained serious injuries when a bakkie they were travelling in overturned on the M7 near Pinetown. - Sne Masuku and Mhlaba Memela
