Apology to Alfred Mokgalaka

In March 2008 Sowetan published an article concerning Alfred Mokgalaka, also known as Moocah.

In March 2008 Sowetan published an article concerning Alfred Mokgalaka, also known as Moocah.

The article contained allegations that Mokgalaka had been charged with statutory rape and was arrested and slept in the cells at Namakgale Police Station.

Sowetan has been informed by Mokgalaka that the allegations were not true. Sowetan apologises to Mokgalaka and regrets the harm caused to him as a result of the publication of the article.
