Parreira, who believes in collective leadership, has made it clear that he will need the support of all South Africans to assemble a well-oiled Bafana squad for the tournament.
The Brazilian has embarked on a mission to share ideas with local coaches, starting the process by engaging those in the Safa structures.
Parreira was not available for comment yesterday, but his assistant Pitso Mosimane said Safa regional and provincial presidents will also attend the meetings.
"Parreira started the process of engaging local coaches when we played Japan last week in the international friendly match in Port Elizabeth," Mosimane said.
"That was for the Eastern Cape province. Subsequent to that, he met the Safa coaches in the Free State province in Bloemfontein on Sunday night.
"The coach did not discuss much with them because of the time factor as we were in camp to prepare for the two crucial friendly matches. But the two meetings gave him the opportunity to meet them, which gave them confidence that he is willing to work with everybody for the sake of Bafana Bafana's success."
Asked if Parreira will also be meeting the Absa Premiership and First Division coaches, Mosimane said: "It's an all-inclusive process. Coach Parreira started with the Safa coaches, he will also be engaging the clubs in the Premiership and National First Division."
Failure to engage local coaches was one of the factors that contributed to the downfall of Parreira's predecessor and compatriot, Joel Santana. Before leaving Bafana in June last year, Parreira not only engaged local coaches but he also attended their training sessions.
Parreira is also on record as saying he will meet Gavin Hunt, Jomo Sono and Clive Barker, who were appointed by Safa to assess Bafana's performance.
