TRAINER Nick Durandt has dared Lovemore "Black Panther" Ndou to prove his manhood by defending his IBO welterweight title against Durandt's charge, Chris van Heerden .

Van Heerden holds both the SA and ABU welterweight belts and is undefeated in 15 fights.

"We will fight him wherever he wants and end his three months of fame," Durandt said yesterday.

Speaking from his home in New South Wales, Australia, Ndou said Durandt "needs help".

"He needs to see a psychiatrist. The only fight I'm interested in is against IBF holder Isaac Hlatshwayo."

Durandt said: "It will be foolish to take this fight to Australia. Lovemore has a handful of fans there. At least he is still taken seriously here at home. I saw that when he fought Phillip Ndou for the same IBO belt," Durandt said.

"We will allow him to select judges from Australia. We won't need them because Chris will knock him out clean cold."

Durandt said Van Heerden will not take the IBO belt because his promoter, Branco Milenkovic, organises credible world titles for all his fighters.

"I was disappointed to read in your newspaper that Lovemore described (Matthew) Hatton as a donkey and that he would expose him on a racecourse. He could not do so," Durandt said. The Ndou-Hatton clash ended in a draw.

Veteran Ndou, 38, has an impressive fight record of 47 wins (31 KOs), 11 defeats and two draws. He has not been stopped throughout his illustrious career.
