BAFANA Bafana player Bryce Moon appeared in the Randburg magistrate's court yesterday on charges of culpable homicide and drunken driving.
Moon, 23, allegedly knocked down Mavis Ncube in Sandton in June. Ncube later died in hospital. He was driving from a Bafana Bafana party after the Confederations Cup final between Brazil and the US. His R3000 bail was extended.
Yesterday, magistrate K Fazli wanted to know why Moon had not scored a goal for Bafana Bafana as he had asked him to do.
Back in June, Fazli was quoted as saying: "Mr Moon, you must score a goal before coming to court. If you don't score a goal, consider not coming to court."
His lawyer Naren Saghan said Moon had not played for the national team since then, hence his not scoring.
His case was postponed to December 22.
