WORLD famous American singer-songwriter Puff Johnson took time from her busy schedule in the United States to visit the Limpopo Youth Orchestra, the previous winners of the Sowetan, SABC and Old Mutual Community Builder of the Year Award.

WORLD famous American singer-songwriter Puff Johnson took time from her busy schedule in the United States to visit the Limpopo Youth Orchestra, the previous winners of the Sowetan, SABC and Old Mutual Community Builder of the Year Award.

This unique orchestra of mainly youths is from poor communities. Johnson, who is best known for songs such as Forever More and Over & Over, is currently working on a new album with several South African producers like RJ Benjamin, Bongani Fassie, Ishmael and the rap group Jozi, Alexis Faku and Malik.

Johnson is also collaborating on community work with the Limpopo Youth Orchestra, led by Simoné Aronje

A cancer survivor, Johnson intends to become involved with the Cancer Association of South Africa. - Victor Mecoamere
