Sivhidzho was arrested for the murder of her husband Avhatakali Netshisaulu in 2006. She told the court that she was tortured into admitting that she had killed him. She is giving evidence in a trial-within-a-trial.
"Do you think there is a conspiracy going on against you by these police," asked prosecutor Maro Papachristoforou. "Yes, it's possible," she answered.
"So you are saying they are all lying about you. Do you think they planned this together?"
"I don't know, it could be so," she said.
Sivhidzho went on to say the police were lying in daying that she never enquired about the progress of the investigation into her husband's murder.
