THREE high-profile police officers facing drug smuggling charges will continue their fight to get bail.
The Johannesburg high court will hear arguments in the new bail application of the West Rand organised crime unit cops tomorrow.
Senior Superintendent Dumisani Jwara and captains Victor Jwili and Landro Makgosani have been in custody since their arrest in March. Their colleague Captain Caiphus Shange, who was the fourth accused, died in prison in July.
Roodepoort magistrate Delise Smit denied them bail in April after finding that they might tamper with investigations if they were granted bail.
