HOME Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma will today launch a community forum to monitor service delivery in Lusikisiki in the Eastern Cape, her department said yesterday.
"The joint home affairs-Lusikisiki consultative forum will deal with service delivery complaints.," said spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa. "It will monitor and ensure implementation of quality service delivery to the Lusikisiki community."
A similar forum was launched early this year in Umzimkhulu, KwaZulu-Natal.
It consists of several government departments, members of the community, local chiefs, religious leaders and councillors.
Dlamini-Zuma will also inspect home affairs offices and visit victims of forced marriages. - Sapa
