A MAN accused of raping a 6-year-old girl and killing a small boy has been been remanded.
This after he appeared in the Thabamoopo magistrate's court yesterday on a rape and murder charge.
His case will come up on November 24, pending further investigations, for a formal bail application.
Magistrate Simon Matshaba said more charges could be added to man's case depending on the investigations.
The man was arrested on Wednesday after a tip-off from members of the community that he was hiding somewhere outside Lebowakgomo.
Lebowakgomo police spokesman Captain Mamphaswa Seabi said the man allegedly raped the girl in full view of the boy and later slit his throat.
He had lured the two children into the bush.
