SUPER-ENERGETIC and charming DJ Sureshnie Rider hosts the late slot on 5FM weekdays from 10pm to 1am.

She rocks the night-crawler spot but "my listenership is crazy, people call in all the time". She started out as a DJ on Campus Radio at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Lotus Radio snapped her up and a few years later she moved to Johannesburg to take a slot on 5FM. She also works as a club DJ, has an R&B radio show on SAA's inflight radio, is an SABC3 voiceover artist and test drives cars for Car Magazine.

With such a hectic schedule you'd be surprised that this gorgeous girl has time to eat, let alone cook. But she loves to whip up delicious meals.

"I love chutney and often use it to flavour my dishes. I usually use Mrs Balls, but I'm looking forward to tasting other brands."

"Mrs Balls has a delicious sweet and sour flavour and a great, lingering tangy aftertaste."

The Pick n Pay chutney packaging doesn't appeal to her. "But it tastes good. It would make a wonderful braai sauce."

All Joy is a brand she has not heard of. "They've combined tomato sauce with something really weak. It could be the replacement for jam in a baking recipe."

She tastes the Wellington "Hot" chutney last. "It's very similar to the PnP brand. This sauce just doesn't have it. Not at all. Very weak."
