A POLICE inspector yesterday told the Johannesburg high court how an informant severed ties with the police after informing him about officers working with druglords.

Inspector Sizwe Sibeko said the informant told him that the police service was "corrupt".

Sibeko was testifying in a case against three senior West Rand officers accused of seizing drugs trafficked into the country and selling them to druglords.
