THEATRE is being taken to rural areas in Limpopo as part of a concerted effort to rekindle memories of the past through plays.

Mahuma Production is this weekend taking the shows to Lenyenye and Kgapane in Mopani district.

Paul Rapetsoa, the director of the shows, said the popular show Can't Wait would be played today and tomorrow at the Lenyenye community hall.

The first show today begins at 1pm and another at 7pm. The second show will also be played at similar times tomorrow.

On Sunday, the shows will be staged at the Kgapane community hall. The first starts at 6pm followed by another at 7.30pm.

"Theatre plays have been in huge demand since we brought them back to the province," Rapetsoa said.

Entrance fee is R40 for adults and R20 for pupils.
