Sharks at full strength

SHARKS prop Tendai Mtawarira and hooker Bismarck du Plessis were yesterday given the thumbs up to play against the Cheetahs in tomorrow's Absa Currie Cup semifinal in Durban.

SHARKS prop Tendai Mtawarira and hooker Bismarck du Plessis were yesterday given the thumbs up to play against the Cheetahs in tomorrow's Absa Currie Cup semifinal in Durban.

The front-row duo picked up minor injuries last weekend against the Griquas, their last game of the round robin stages.

Coach John Plumtree was excited that his two Springboks had recovered in time .

"We have great respect for the Cheetahs and they really deserve to be in the semifinals. But my charges are raring to do their utmost to brush them aside and book a place in the final," he said.

Plumtree has selected the strongest squad possible for tomorrow's match and the in-form Stefan Terblanche will retain the captaincy.

Sharks squad: Stefan Terblanche (captain), Odwa Ndungane, Adrian Jacobs, Riaan Swanepoel, JP Pietersen, Juan Hernandez, Ruan Pienaar, Ryan Kankowski, Jean Deysel, Jacques Botes, Johann Muller, Steven Sykes, John Smit, Bismarck du Plessis and Tendai Mtawarira.
