Chilling in Zanzibar

HAVING had enough of Joburg, we girls jetted to Zanzibar to hang out with the stars for the Tropika Island of Treasure competition this week.

HAVING had enough of Joburg, we girls jetted to Zanzibar to hang out with the stars for the Tropika Island of Treasure competition this week.

It is beautiful here and we girls are having a ball watching celebs take part in various games to win R1million.

Bianca le Grange was a bit overdressed at 5am when she arrived at the airport in full blonde hair and fully made-up face, complete with eye-shadow.

It was fun to see her and Loyiso Bala greet and then ignore each other. Sizwe Dhlomo, Speedy and the beautiful Trevor Noah were the most sombre guys on the way to Zanzibar.

But, thank goodness, Dhlomo caused some slight drama when he threatened to push Kelly Khumalo into the pool and we had to look away as she furiously gave him a tongue lashing, saying: "You don't know who I am."

But of course the most drama in the first couple of hours was provided by Khanyi Mbau, who is also on the island to shoot inserts for a television show to be aired on e.tv.

She was all over the place in her bikini and we must be honest, the lady has a great body even if some of it is fake. Great weather, complaining Italians and great weather - you should be us.

The beautiful Lira was overheard saying the seven days on the island was the most she had ever spent away from her new husband - sweet.

DJ Fresh did not have that problem since he had his petite wife Thabiso with him the whole time and you could see the love.

Beautiful Masai men are making sure we stay outdoors and, yes, we do have a great life. Sashi Naidoo, who had recently quit smoking, was very demure and we wondered whether she misses the nicotine.

Great food, sexy adventures and celebrities with beautiful bodies. Zanzibar is wonderful, except for the ever- complaining Italians, who should really stay at home.

Thanks Tropika, I can't wait to get back home.
