BM ROADSTER lifts the roof

NOTHING beats a topless vehicle in summer.

NOTHING beats a topless vehicle in summer.

Imagine sitting in a drop dead gorgeous roadster driving right into the sunset.

The BMW Z4 roadster has come just at the right time for the festive season. The Z4 3.5 is a straight-six cylinder with double-clutch transmission.

It was a few weeks ago when the Z4 roadster came here for a media road test and the moment I jumped into the plush driver's seat I knew I had to immediately find the roof button.

When I pressed it I was welcomed by the beautiful blue sky in just 20 seconds.

Vehicles such as the BMW Z4 roadster with its stylish ambience that includes a driver-oriented dashboard design and central console quickly attract a fan base .

This newmodel is the first BMW roadster to have a retractable hardtop.

And even with the roof closed, the new Z4 retains all the proportions typical of a genuine roadster.

It is fitted with features such as electro-mechanical power steering, dynamic stability control as well as dynamic drive control.

The roadster's extra-long front lid also makes it unique.

The large wheel arches, long wheelbase and small overhangs are that of a BMW Z model.

It all makes for an unmistakable look - with its low-slung front end and a striking shoulder line and its rear end accentuating the sheer width of the car.

The engine compartment lid extends beyond the wheel arches and with its large kidney grille this new product has a unique presence that is sure to thrill all those South African drivers who just love the wide open spaces.
