A SECURITY guard and a suspect were shot four times each during an attempted robbery at Aeroton Steel, Johannesburg, yesterday.
Police spokesperson Inspector Lorraine van Emmerik said the security guard and the suspect were shot during a shootout.
"The security guard was airlifted to hospital and is in a stable but critical condition. The suspect who was shot in the head was conscious," said Van Emmerik. - Louise McAuliffe
