Adiyiah rates goal against Amajita as his best

GHANAIAN Under-20 striker Dominic Adiyiah has singled out his goal against Amajita as his personal favourite at the Fifa Under-20 World Cup in Egypt. Adiyiah - who is on six goals and on course to win the Golden Boot award - said the goal was all the more significant as his team was desperate to win, while the match was drawn 1-all.

Adiyiah - who is on six goals and on course to win the Golden Boot award - said the goal was all the more significant as his team was desperate to win, while the match was drawn 1-all.

"It was one of the best goals of my career. I knew I was in line with the post and, as a striker, you have to think about what you are going to do when you get the ball, so when I got it I turned and just had a drive. You can't be afraid to miss chances like that."

The Norway-based striker has forged a fearsome partnership with Ransford Osei, which has yielded 10 goals between them, despite the duo linking up only in January this year. - Fifa.com
