Now in his second season with the reigning Absa Premiership champions, the lanky Liberian is also an integral part of his national team back home. He lets Sowetan in on a few things that make him tick; outside of football, of course.
Q: What would you be doing if you were not a football player?
A: It is really hard to say. I have wanted to play football since I can remember.
Q: List five people you would invite for dinner, and why?
A: Nelson Mandela, simply because he is a great legend known worldwide for his amazing contribution to democracy in the country.
Another one would be French footballer Thierry Henry. I love his style of play and I think he is an intelligent player from whom I can learn a lot. US tennis champion Venus Williams would be another. She is the best tennis player in the world, in my opinion. I think she is also a tall and beautiful woman.
Fourth would be Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger because he is such a great coach.
Lastly, I would have Nigerian (Nwankwo) Kanu - he is a legend in the footballing world who has not only conquered opposition teams for years, but he also overcame a heart illness. Plus he is also from West Africa, and we will have a lot to talk about.
Q: Your favourite meal?
A: That would have to be rice and chicken.
Q: When in a foreign country what do you do to pass the time?
A: I spend a lot of time sleeping - you can't just walk around on the streets in a foreign country, sometimes you can get lost or arrested.
Q: The last song you listened to?
A: R Kelly's You Saved Me. I'm a big fan of R&B.
Q: If money was not an issue, what car would you be driving?
A: The latest Porsche.
Q: Your favourite holiday destination?
A: Mauritius. I generally like islands, they are very relaxing.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 20 years' time?
A: Back home in Liberia managing my businesses.
Q: Who are the Liberians who inspire you?
A: Besides my parents, George Weah and President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
