RYAN Seacrest better not rest easy because Lee-Roy Wright is gunning for his number one spot.

RYAN Seacrest better not rest easy because Lee-Roy Wright is gunning for his number one spot.

Lee-Roy Wright, 21, recalls being bitten by the TV bug while watching an episode of American Idol and seeing his idol in action.

"I decided if I didn't get to work in TV I was going to crack," he said.

Fresh out of high school, Wright landed the opportunity to host World of Winners, a live show that aired five days a week.

Soon after he landed the job as Craze presenter.

Wright also acted in the third season of the drama Wild at Heart in the UK.

"I felt like a real celebrity. I had my own trailer!"

He now hosts Frenzy, and will begin hosting Craze'd Out Live from October 8.

Nervous about having to try four hot sauces, he starts with Maggi Original chilli sauce. "It would be perfect for boerewors rolls."

Feeling braver, he tries Pick n Pay's Hot Peri Peri Sauce. He loves the garlic and finds it not too hot.

Next he tries the Nando's extra hot peri peri sauce. "It just burns," he said.

After recovering from that he tries Wellington's hot chilli sauce. "It's more like a hot chutney than a chilli sauce. I would pour this over a tossed salad."

So which sauce would make it into his trailer when he becomes a star? Pick n Pay's hot peri peri sauce! - Keitumetse Segoai
