SANDF warnsex-soldiers

THE South African National Defence Force has warned former struggle soldiers not to fall for a scam promising them defence jobs and a cash payout.

THE South African National Defence Force has warned former struggle soldiers not to fall for a scam promising them defence jobs and a cash payout.

Defence spokesperson Siphiwe Dlamini yesterday said it had come to the department's attention that former struggle soldiers were being promised they would be integrated into the SANDF by a group calling itself the Cape Corps Trust.

Dlamini said people were apparently on their way yesterday to the De Brug Training Area outside Bloemfontein and other SANDF bases and units after being led into believing that they would be integrated into the force today.

"There is no integration planned by the department," Dlamini said. - Sapa
