Activities include a fun run and walk, indigenous games, team-building sessions and children's entertainment such as jumping castles, jungle gyms, bike rides, face painting and circus acts.
Conceived by Moses Odirile Banyatsi of Mob Unlimited Productions, the family fun day is the latest addition to Sowetan and the Aggrey Klaaste Nation Building Foundation's youth and community development activities portfolio.
Sowetan's nation building or corporate social investment work thrives on solid partnerships such as this one.
Other sponsors include Pick n Pay, Baden Mafikeng, Nkwe Stationers, Jetline Mmabatho and Tholo Granite Works. The celebrity contingent will come from the cast and crew of SABC3's Isidingo.
