Everyone is invited to join the nation-building partnership driving the yearly early childhood development awards that are enhancing the campaign to nurture well-rounded future leaders.

Arguably the only thriving vehicle for sustainable development in ECD, the awards' partners are SABC Education, the Department of Education, South African Congress for Early Childhood Development, the UN International Children's Emergency Fund, Sowetan, the Aggrey Klaaste Nation Building Foundation and Absa Foundation.

Through Absa and Sowetan the awards encourage and ensure the professional development of ECD practitioners, the improvement and support of ECD centres and ECD resources and training organisations.

The practitioners include caregivers, teachers and managers of ECD centres, crèches and kindergartens - as well as the tutors and organisations that nurture the teaching staff at the centres.
