Blatter was speaking in Zurich on Monday as the world governing body and Coca-Cola launched the 225-day global tour of the World Cup trophy.
The Fifa president said they were happy with South Africa's preparations for the World Cup that is expected to be attended by more than 500000 tourists.
The solid-gold trophy will travel 134017km and visit every nation in Africa to give fans the once-in-a-lifetime experience of posing for photos with it.
The trophy will be flown from Zurich to Cairo, Egypt, to coincide with the start of the World Youth Championships, where Amajita are one of the four teams representing the continent.
"Through this event, we are engaging fans on a global scale, giving them the unique opportunity to have their picture taken with the most prestigious prize in world football and to embrace the excitement surrounding the World Cup," Blatter said.
"I am especially thrilled that the Fifa World Cup Trophy Tour takes (place) in all 54 nations in Africa and that this opportunity is thus afforded to all African football fans.
Said Muhtar Kent, the Coca-Cola chairperson: "Our programmes to support the 2010 Fifa World Cup, such as the Trophy Tour, will leave a lifelong impression on consumers that helps to reinforce loyalty and preference for our business and our brands."
