Which is why I noticed when I saw metro cops stopping and fining those using BRT bus lanes. Of course, the operation didn't last beyond a few days. I hope they come back and flex their muscles, especially when people park illegally on the side of the road and hold the rest of us up.
Joburg's various departments don't work together properly and as a result ratepayers suffer. With cellphones and e-mails available, the city could plan better, but they don't and so we have to endure law breakers who get away with it.
