THE Kimberley Process should release its report and recommendations on Zimbabwe's diamond sector as soon as possible, the executive committee of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses said yesterday.
WFDB president Avi Paz said from London: "We have been following the situation in Zimbabwe with considerable concern."
A Kimberley Process review team visited Zimbabwe last month, during which it met senior government and mining officials, and toured the Marange diamond fields.
Paz said they supported efforts of the Kimberley Process to defend the safety and well-being of Zimbabweans living in diamond fields . - Sapa
