PORT Elizabeth's Park Rugby Club became the 16th and final team to qualify for the 2009 SAA National Club Championships after they recorded a nail-biting 5-3 win over SAPS in the Eastern Province Grand Challenge final at Londt Park.

PORT Elizabeth's Park Rugby Club became the 16th and final team to qualify for the 2009 SAA National Club Championships after they recorded a nail-biting 5-3 win over SAPS in the Eastern Province Grand Challenge final at Londt Park.

Park will return to the club championships for the first time since 2002 as one of 13 clubs that did not play in the 2008 tournament.

The 35th staging of the flagship event of club rugby will be held at the LC de Villiers sports grounds at the University of Pretoria's Sport Centre from September 20-26. The final takes place at Loftus Versfeld on September 26. - Sapa
