A FEW months ago I wrote to your sister newspaper, Sunday World, about Julius Malema's egregious utterances and invoked the Setswana adage: Ngwana yo o tlhogo kgolo o sira rragwe,meaning, "a child with a big head obscures his father's view".
By this the Batswana sages meant that if you allow your child to do wrong he will end up doing those wrong things to you.
Well, Blade Nzimande and the tripartite alliance have experienced that first hand.
The only difference with Nzimande and Naledi Pandor is that Malema was censured, even by the YCL. But Mbhazima Shilowa and Helen Zille were fair game because they are not part of the alliance.
This kind of selective morality and double standards stink.
Wrong is wrong is wrong, irrespective of who it is being done to.
