Indhira Naik said Promise Mweli, a former dormitory parent at the academy, had had a fight with Makopo.
"I called Makopo on September 24 2007 and had a discussion with her about allegations levelled by Mweli at her. She did not respond and said the matter was dealt with by the head of the academy," Naik said.
She said on October 2 2007 she had two separate discussions with Makopo and Mweli about the allegations. She also had another discussion with Ernie Campbell, Clinton Roth and Makopo.
"Makopo was uncooperative and we decided to suspend her," Naik said.
The trial will resume next week.
