HISTORY will be made in local boxing tonight. Four female title fights will feature in a tournament in East London.

Mdantsane supergirls Noni "She Bee Stingin' Tenge and Unathi "Showtime" Myekeni will defend their WBF International welterweight and featherweight belts against Ghanaians Yinka Adeoti and Helen Joseph, respectively.

Bomikazi Klaas will fight Rita Mrwebi for the SA middleweight title while Queen Tshabalala and Ester Mashiya will do battle for the national super middleweight belt.

The main fight is in the men' section. WBF bantamweight champion Lubabalo Msuthu defends his title against Kenyan Nick Otieno.

The main supporting bout, the national super flyweight championship bout between Themba Joyi and Miniyakhe Sityata, could steal the thunder from the main attraction.

Victory will secure Joyi a chance to fight for the vacant IBO belt. Mamali Promotions will present the tournament.
