IT WAS disgusting to read about Senior Superintendent Jannie Dawson assaulting a fellow officer for doing her job.
The entire police force should hang their heads in shame after this misadventure and make sure that this madness does not go unpunished.
The culprit must feel the full wrath of the law.
We do not need people like Dawson as either public servants or citizens. We need people who uphold the law instead of defending wrong-doing. Dawson, as a senior officer, should know better.
I just hope action will be taken to protect all the citizens of South Africa from bullies and racist cops such as Dawson.
I also hope that the lesson will filter through to his cohorts who abuse the power bestowed on them and which they continue to enjoy through our hard-earned tax.
I hope the Minister of Police will make sure that justice is done by getting rid of people such as Dawson and other senior police who think they and their relatives are above the law.
Extensive investigations must take place and we need to know what took place on the day in question. If what your paper reported is anything to go by, Dawson's daughter must be charged for common assault as well.
That will send a clear message to other arrogant idiots that "the black bitch (Mapule Podile) doesn't think she's smart". She is smart because she was doing the right thing (her job).
