CRICKETER Lance Klusener is about to make a return to South African cricket after a stint in the rebel Indian Cricket League.
Klusener, who is popularly known as "Zulu", has been nominated for the Bakers' Level Three coaching course at Cricket SA's High Performance Centre in Pretoria next month.
An elated Klusener could not hide his excitement at the prospect of one day becoming a top coach.
"I am grateful for this opportunity and I'm looking forward to it," Klusener said.
"With the experience I have gained over the years and the know-how, I hope that I can be of some help."
Though not ruling out the possibility of one day being the Proteas coach, Klusener said: "Coaching the Proteas would be an absolute honour, but that is something I'm not even thinking of at the moment.
"Working with young players is something that interests me, and I would like to help some of the youngsters who show great potential."
