AFTER a very successful run in the Lyric Theatre at Joburg's Gold Reef City in May, The Last Laugh Comedy show is back by popular demand.
It will be staged on September 19 and 20 - again at Gold Reef City.
The show features popular local comedians John Vlismas, Darren Maule, Joey Rasdien and Kagiso Lediga.
Award-winning Vlismas has kept audiences in stitches both locally and internationally with his stand-up political humour.
He has enjoyed local success with one-man shows such as Man in Black and Mr Ballistic in 1997.
Another much-loved South African actor and stand-up comedian Maule is. He is best known for his role as Grant Fletcher in the television drama Hard Copy and also for hosting the SABC3 game show Out Of The Box .
After 10 years of specialising in physical comedy, Maule shifted his focus to stand-up comedy. Within a few years in the industry he was riding the crest.
These two established comedians will be joined by Rasdien, another wonderful funny man.
Having cut his teeth at comedy clubs throughout Johannesburg he is no stranger to the stand-up comedy scene.
Lediga ventured into comedy while he was studying at the University of Cape Town about 10 years ago .
Lediga is now recognised as one of South Africa's best comedians and has performed at most of the major comedy shows locally.
He is a creator of the local hit sketch comedy television series the Pure Monate Show, and was a writer in the popular local film Bunny Chow.
