Swine flu hits school

INANDA Seminary Secondary School in KwaZulu-Natal remained shut yesterday amid heightened reports of a swine flu outbreak.

Unconfirmed reports said there was one suspected case and that some 200 pupils were treated for general flu symptoms.

The school has been shut since last Friday.

The province has recorded more than 129 confirmed swine flu cases, up from the 42 from last week. In the rest of the country infections stand at more than 1900, with three deaths confirmed so far.
