RELO Tsotetsi, formerly Skwatta Kamp's beautiful diva, is releasing her first solo album, The Gift of Life.

With her smooth sultry vocals, Relo is sure to get lots of support. She describes her 13-track album as lounge music with housey elements and a jazzy undercurrent.

"We have experimented with this album," she says.

"Putting jazz and soul vibes together to create a laid-back feel that can take you anywhere."

Relo says the sound is created to appeal to females, but any man that loves to impress his woman, will love it too. She says the album is very personal.

"I'm so excited it is finally coming out and that my fans are going to be introduced to a whole new sound."

Relo describes the album as being about a journey, and as every journey starts with a step we asked her to test foot care lotion to make sure that her feet are in top notch condition.

"I like to take good care of my feet," says Relo. "I guess that's lucky because you never know when someone's going to ask you to expose your toes in a photo."

First she tested Dr Sole Cracked Heel Repair Cream that claims to soften a dry, cracked feel. "Hmm," she says, "It smells very soapy and the clean blue and green packaging suggests that it works well. I trust the way this product looks."

Relo found the cream rubs in easily and is very moisturising on the heels.

Relo also tried the Green Cross Soothing Heel Balm. It is an intensive treatment for heels, knees and elbows and comes in a white tube.

"This one smells of its ingredients, lavender and tea tree oil."

She describes the cream as very soft and thick with good moisture. "It rubs in nicely and you can feel your heels getting softer."

Feet First is deep penetrating with shea butter and sweet almond oil. This limited edition product really appealed to her.

"This lotion smells fantastic," she says. "It has a beautiful subtle fragrance that reminds me of the islands. It makes you want to put it all over your body." The lotion is easy to rub in and not so thick. "This product also has the best packaging. It's more subtle."

Scholl Cracked Heel Repair Cream is fragrance and colour free. "It's thick and heavier than the others and more difficult to rub in but it stays on well." The packaging does not appeal to her: "It's too bright and busy for me," she says. - Andrea Nagel
