HARARE - Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe says if the West can't support Zimbabwe's struggling coalition government, it should "leave us alone".

Mugabe was speaking yesterday at the funeral of 85-year-old vice-president Joseph Msika, who had served with him for two decades and died last week after suffering from heart disease.

Prime minister Morgan Tsvangirai and top officials in the five-month-old coalition government joined Mugabe and about 20000 other mourners at Harare's Heroes Acre cemetery.
