MADRID - Real Madrid goalie Iker Casillas expressed relief at the transfer of Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o to Inter Milan, saying the Cameroonian striker had been a "nightmare" to play against.
"I'm happy that Eto'o has left because he was a nightmare for me," he said yesterday. "He is a great professional," said the Spain captain. Eto'o, 28, left Barca as part of an exchange deal that brought Inter's Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the Catalan club.
Eto'o, who spent five years with Barca, often scored against Casillas, notably during the last Barcelona-Real Madrid match at Camp Nou in December. - Sapa-AFP
