LERATO Chabangu has returned to Chloorkop after leaving Mamelodi Sundowns to Tshwane rivals SuperSport United during the January transfer window.

As if that was not enough to send shock waves around the football front, Matsatsantsa a Pitori have parted ways with star attacker Elias Pelembe, who has also joined Downs.

These developments were confirmed by United coach Gavin Hunt last night.

"Yes, it is true that Chabangu has gone back to Sundowns and that Elias is also their player," Hunt said.

Downs publicist Alex Shakoane could not be reached for comment.

Hunt is also likely to lose another prized player in Daine Klate, who is said to have been courted by Orlando Pirates for sometime.

Pirates will make a special announcement today where Klate is expected to be officially confirmed as a Buccaneer. - Bongani Magasela
