Scores of music lovers were looking forward to the show that was billed to take place at the Great Centenary Hall in Port Elizabeth.
But the fans were shocked when they learnt that the Great Centenary Hall had never been booked for the show.
"People were angry because they felt they were taken for a ride. They wanted their money back," said a fan.
Manager of Ncandweni, Nosipho Mtyhobile, said the group could not travel to Eastern Cape because organiser Anele Mbasana had failed to pay upfront.
