GREGARIOUS TV presenter Morena Sefatsa, affectionately known as Mo, is not the kind to sweat under pressure.

GREGARIOUS TV presenter Morena Sefatsa, affectionately known as Mo, is not the kind to sweat under pressure.

At the age of six he dived into the limelight, by taking a part in the film adaptation of Alan Paton's novel Cry, the Beloved Country. Since then he has had no reason to look back.

His debut performance was followed by a part in the movie Beat the Drum and several TV advertisements.

In 2002 he became a presenter for e.tv's Craze Kids. His success on the show saw him grow to become host of Frenzy and the hip-hop show Shiz Niz.

Last year the young star toured the country for three months, using drama to teach the youth about issues that affect them.

"I feel very strongly about teaching people my own age about Aids and HIV," he says.

"I think it is because I have family members who have it that I want to tell people 'Hey we are not immune to this disease!'"

Today his task is to decide which deodorant is the one to wear in front of the cameras.

The first one he tries is Playboy's Original Deodorant. "This one smells like soap. It's the one I'd use if I just came from a club and wanted to smell fresh."

Next up is the Status Crusader Steel. "This one is very spicy. I'd give it four out of five."

Mo then moves on to the Sanex Dermo Fresh, for men. "I would use this one after playing sports. It smells as if it will combine well with sweat."

Next up is an unfamiliar brand. "It's the first time I've come across this Everlasting brand. It looks very expensive - as if I have to use a French accent when I use it. It smells too strong at first but after a while the scent is quite nice."

The familiar Axe Conviction Body Spray is the last to be tried.

"I love the packaging. It looks like something James Bond would use.

"If you used it in high school you would be considered sexy - but at varsity this type of scent would just fit in - though you would still impress the girls."

Mo reckons that it's a toss -up between Axe and Status - and finally decides that Axe is the most appealing of the two. "It gives a man confidence." - Keitumetse Segoai
