This follows a request by concerned ratepayers, including the SACP, over unaccounted for funds estimated at more than R307980 that went missing from the municipal coffers.
Municipal manager Johnson Mathenjwa acknowledged the loss, saying after uncovering the problem the municipality suspended the manager responsible. - Canaan Mdletshe
